Venky Atluri made a strong debut with Varun Tej‘s Tholi Prema but later faced failures with Mr. Majnu and Rang De. He then switched gears and directed Sir with Dhanush, which became one of the biggest hits in Dhanush’s career.
Following this success, Venky directed Lucky Baskhar with Dulquer Salmaan, earning widespread appreciation for his work.
Currently, he is working on new scripts and continues his association with Sithara Entertainments, the banner behind Sir and Lucky Bhaskar.
Venky Atluri is set to collaborate with Suriya next, with the story already narrated. He is finalizing the script, and the shoot is expected to start by the end of 2025.
Additionally, Venky will direct Nandamuri Mokshagna Teja‘s second film. While he is working on this script as well, there’s no clarity yet on when it will begin.
Both projects are expected to be officially announced next year, giving Venky enough time to complete the scripts.
